Corvette C5 Gets A New Look From Wittera

Tuning

Aftermarket specialists Wittera have given the C5 Corvette a brand-new widebody aero package along with a light tuner program. The kit is offered in either carbon fiber or a unique high-grade glass fiber-reinforced plastic, which undergoes a specific process Wittera has dubbed as tempering. How it works is that parts are heated exactly to 149 degrees then cooled down in a mold for 25 minutes in order to increase resistance and avoid cracks.

The package is comprised of inner and outer front fenders, rear apron, rocker panels, door panels and a complete rear end. The bumper consists of two options, which include a flat one, tailored for C5s fitted with a suspension lowering system and a deeper one that underlines the strong appearance of the widebody conversion. There are 20 different sets of wheel options for the C5, with the largest measuring at 19-inches on the front and 20-inches on the rear wrapped in 255x35 ZR 19 tires and 345x25ZR 20. Pricing on either of the body kits and tires were not announced.
