Heavily modified previous and current-gen Vettes duke it out on the strip.
The C6 Corvette dusted many a supercar on the quarter-mile strip with its 430-hp LS3 engine, but it’s surely no match for the latest and greatest C7-gen Stingray. Powered by a new LT1 unit rated at 455 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque, the C7 is good for a low 12-second quarter-mile run. However, the Vettes in this latest video courtesy of High Tech Corvette have been heavily modified and both run in the tens. There’s really no way of knowing which will come out on top just by looking at them.
You’ll just have to watch the video to find out.
