Since its introduction in 1953, the Corvette has continued to evolve both stylistically and technologically, but its soul has never changed.
The Corvette has come a long way throughout its long history in terms of both styling traits and power outputs. Then again, as the saying goes: the more things change, the more they stay the same. In the Corvette's case, its overall design has certainly evolved over the years but its adherence to a front-mounted V8 engine (with the exception of the C1's inline-six) and rear-wheel-drive setup remain, as does its plastic fantastic bodywork material of choice.
In this new video, the crew from Hot Rod Unlimited heads over to the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA to check out a historic Corvette lifespan display. With Stingray designer Kirk Bennion on hand, get ready to experience the Corvette's complete history all under one roof.
