We've known for a long time now that the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was designed to be a global sports car in every sense. That's all fine and good, but when the automaker takes its latest pride and joy to a little test track called the Nurburgring, it'd make sense to hear about its official lap times, right? We don't think we're alone on this, but that's pretty much exactly what has just happened. Chevy has revealed that the Corvette Stingray was recently put through the paces at the Ring for a few fast laps and some fine tuning for the Euro market.

With "particular attention to the suspension set-up and the steering", the idea here was to make sure the new Vette was ready to handle European roads, since they "are quite distinct from those in the US." Ok, fine, but what about its performance? Come on Chevy, just release those numbers. We're all waiting.
