Corvette Z06 Roll Races 2014 SRT Viper

Supercar

Blacked out and ready to roll, America's supercars cross swords in Texas.

On paper the Viper should have enough to beat the C6 Corvette Z06, and as you’ll see from this roll race at the Texas World Speedway that’s exactly what happens. Courtesy of High Tech Corvette, the battle was a warm up for the Roll Racing Nationals, the first event for TX2K14, which is running on March 12-13. The Vette Z06 is powered by a 7.0-liter V8 rated at 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, while the Viper comes with a 8.4-liter V10 good for 640 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque.

Both are mated to six-speed manuals with power going to the rear wheels. Check them out in action.
