If you're not a fan of the emerging styling language coming from Lexus, well, then you're pretty much out of luck. That Darth Vader-inspired spindle grille is popping up on every new model, from the IS to the NX. And pretty soon it'll be the RX's turn for a complete redesign. Remember, the RX was quite literally in many ways the first premium crossover. It spawned plenty of copies and eventually helped sway the market away from SUVs to sedan-based, raised wagons. The original RX was such a dynamic design that it brought in plenty of new buyers to Lexus showrooms.

But will the upcoming fourth generation model do the same? We'll find out fairly soon as there are rumors it'll premiere at Detroit next week. Rumor has it'll grow in size in order to further separate it from the smaller NX. Rendering artist Theophilus Chin has presented his take on what the new RX could look like. Honestly, and this has absolutely no bearing on TC himself, this proposed 2016 RX looks downright ugly.
