Following Volkswagen's most recent teaser of the Golf GTI Clubsport concept, we are pleased to bring you the latest photos of the hot new VDub. The Golf GTI Clubsport concept was developed in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the GTI's production. This special version of the GTI has a more aggressively styled body and retuned suspension that neatly slams the hot hatch on fat 19-inch wheels. Other unique styling cues include white body paint, a black rooftop, a rear-mounted spoiler and dual chrome tailpipes.

The new Clubsport will be the most powerful Golf GTI on the market ever when it enters production. The car will have a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder EA888 gasoline engine that pumps out a whopping 261 hp. Another awesome stock feature that will be included on the GTI Clubsport is the special option to boost the turbocharger pressure that will temporarily raise the engine output to 287 hp. This special concept GTI has a six-speed dual-clutch automatic DSG gearbox and Volkswagen has indicated that the car is capable of hitting 62 mph in 6.4 seconds and will have a top speed capped at 155 mph.
