Could This Seriously Be The New Rolls-Royce SUV?

Well, part of it belongs to the company's SUV project...

At first glance it appears that the folks over at Rolls-Royce spent the entire weekend marathoning Fast and the Furious films. How else do you explain this winged-Phantom? As it turns out, this is the first iteration of the new Rolls-Royce SUV which is internally referred to as “Project Cullinan.” Phase one is merely designed to test the SUV’s all-wheel drive suspension system, in this case a winged and shortened Phantom Series II mule.

According to Rolls-Royce, its mule will be out and about the next few months for testing, both off-road and on, so expect to see more of it. Hopefully someone will have a video soon of this Phantom tearing through the English countryside. Automakers don’t typically do press releases for mules, which means that either Project Cullinan is generating some excitement at Goodwood or that the higher-ups wanted to protect the brand’s image by outing the identity of this ridiculous looking Rolls.
