CoverEFX loves tuning MINIs, and their Skittle-colored JCW and JCW GP really show what the Germans are capable of.
CoverEFX has just turned two MINIs into works of brightly-colored art. The MINIs seen here include a sunflower yellow John Cooper Works GP edition and a 'Smurf Blue' John Cooper Works. Both cars feature a Wiechers roll cage, tinted windows, Bilstein brakes and 17-inch OZ Racing's Crono wheels. The JCW GP is wrapped in Toyo tires, while the JCW's are covered in Federal Semi-Sport tires.
The German tuners have given the blue MINI John Cooper Works a new exhaust system and an ECU remap. An intercooler form the JCW GP model also makes its way over for an increased total engine output of 236hp. An H&R adjustable rear stabilizer and OMP strut brace was also fitted to the Smurf-colored MINI. The JCW's interior features Recaro Pole Position seats wrapped in high-class Alcantara. The John Cooper Works GP has, in addition to the aforementioned sunflower yellow vinyl coating, has a blacked-out new grille, air intakes, door handles and side sills.
An upgraded suspension, KBR Motorsports stainless-steel manifold, reworked ECU and exhaust system allow the MINI JCW GP to put out a solid 234hp. No pricing information has been released yet for CoverEFX's aftermarket programs for the MINI JCW and JCW GP.
