How much money is near-instant gratification worth to you? A Californian dealer values it at a cool $36,648. That's how much Rusnak/Westlake Porsche in Thousand Oaks is charging over MSRP (plus options) for a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. Westlake wants $305,888 for this Turbo S Cab with 7,226 miles on the odometer. Still, it's not as bad as the dealer that wanted $500K for a Turbo S.

If you go to Porsche for a similar 2022 model year 911 Turbo S Cab, it'll run you $269,240 with almost the exact same options on it. We say "almost" largely because of year-over-year changes to the Turbo S, like the slightly different 911 Turbo Exclusive Design Wheels.

Still, $36,000 to have your 911 today instead of several months from now is a hefty sum, especially considering the mileage difference. Miles are miles, no matter how small the delta. Yes, Porsche has had some production setbacks in light of global supply chain disruptions, but we think it's worth the wait considering the markup.

Pricing aside, the Turbo S this dealer is selling is one loaded-up 911. As far as we can tell, it has roughly $47,000 in options on it, give or take a few that the dealer's website didn't list. Not that it makes much difference. We struggle to think of a way to make up that $36,000 markup. Even if we could, most buyers would likely prefer to have a brand new car straight from Stuttgart.

One of the largest reasons for this car's massive price tag (both from Porsche and the dealer) is the addition of the $11,250 Exclusive Manufaktur Leather Interior, which adds leather to just about every possible surface in your choice of color. There's also a $3,920 Sport Exhaust System with silver tailpipes.

So, with that in mind, we gave Westlake Porsche a ring. The first time we reached out, a sales associate attempted to put us in touch with a manager. Unfortunately, he was unavailable at the time, and we got his voicemail almost immediately. At the time of this article's publishing, Rusnak/Westlake Porsche has not responded to our request for comment. If you're here for advice, we'd suggest simply ordering the Porsche you want from Stuttgart. Especially when it'll arrive with a more palatable interior.
