Crossovers That Can Eat Hellcats For Breakfast Are Our New Favorite Thing

Drag Race

It’s still Ford vs. Dodge but not in the way you expect.

The Ford Territory is an Australia-only crossover SUV that looks like it has more in common with a Chevy Traverse than a Dodge Challenger Hellcat. It looks perfectly at home at youth soccer matches but would turn heads in confusion at a drag strip when lined up next to a Hellcat. But unlike the 6.2-liter V8 Hemi Dodge that makes 707 horsepower, this juice box transporter can pull off a faster quarter mile time with only a 4.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 pushing 654 horsepower to all four wheels.

If the two were to race, the Dodge would lose by seven-tenths of a second (10.85 for the hellkitty vs 10.14 for the Territory) and would never know what hit it.
