The annual SEMA show in Las Vegas is just around the corner, where automakers show off heavily modified versions of current models by aftermarket tuners. Hyundai recently previewed the Veloster N Performance Concept coming to SEMA, but this isn't the only car the Korean automaker is bringing to the show. Hyundai has announced two more custom projects that will be displayed at SEMA: the Bisimoto VelosterRaptor N Concept and the Rockstar Performance Garage Kona Ultimate Concept.

Based on the Hyundai Veloster N Performance Package model, the VelosterRaptor N Concept is fitted with several performance-enhancing bolt-on upgrades to demonstrate its aftermarket tuning potential. It was designed to be a "Type R killer" by a team of four with engineering expertise ranging from mechanical to chemical to aerospace.

While the standard Veloster N's 2.0-liter turbo engine produces 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, the VelosterRaptor N Concept has over 320 hp. This was achieved by a high-flow exhaust system that improves the engine's efficiency, engine management, water methanol kit, high-performance intercooler, high-flow intake, mass airflow modifications, and upgraded turbocharger internals.

Subtle changes have also been applied to the exterior, including bespoke wheels and a custom, aero-enhancing rear spoiler, while the lowered suspension reduces ground clearance and improves the center of gravity. Inside, the custom hot hatch gets lightweight front seats and a specially-designed interactive OBD cluster.

In addition, Hyundai will also be showcasing the Kona Ultimate Concept by Rockstar Performance Garage. Based on a black Kona Ultimate Turbo AWD, Rockstar has created the ultimate Kona SUV. Among the modifications include 16-inch rally wheels wrapped in 30-inch race-grooved tires and suspension upgrades to make it more off-road capable.

It's also equipped with Baja Design LED lighting and a Magnaflow exhaust enhances the SUV's soundtrack.

No powertrain details were provided, so the regular Kona's 2.0-liter inline-4 gas engine producing 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque has likely carried over. Hyundai has previously collaborated with Rockstar Performance to create custom versions of the Tucson and Santa Fe.
