Think of it as the perfect Holloween costume for your Wrangler.
The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most customized vehicles in existence. Even the company that builds it produces a handful of awesome concepts every year for the Easter Jeep Safari, showing off the immense customizability of the Wrangler.
While a custom Wrangler can often be quite cool, sometimes the decisions made by aftermarket companies have the potential to go horribly wrong. There have seen some truly strange custom Wranglers over the years but we'll let you make your own decision about this latest one.
It comes from a company called Oracle Lighting that focuses on, you guess it, automotive lighting. The company has created what it calls "The World's Angriest Jeep," built to haunt rearview mirrors for Holloween. Just looking at the front end styling of this Wrangler, we have no doubts some children (and a few adults) will be afraid of it.
"For Halloween, using a mix of new and upcoming products, our team designed this really sinister-looking Jeep that has this unique, angry scowl that we thought enthusiasts would enjoy," explained Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting Director of Product Development. "Oracle Lighting wanted to showcase how our products can completely change and enhance the look as well as the personality of a vehicle. Perfect for the scariest night of the year, the Oracle Lighting Jeep is impossible to miss out on the road." Well, he's certainly not wrong.
Oracle has equipped the Wrangler with a new custom LED light system. At the front, the Jeep features a Demon Eye ColorSHIFT Projector Illumination system and a Vector Pro-Series grille with sequentially-firing daytime running lights (DRLs). You'll also notice the bottom end glowing red, courtesy of crimson underbody LED rock lights and a full set of four illuminated Oracle Lighting LED wheel rings mounted on each brake rotor.
All of the parts used on the Oracle Lighting Sinister Jeep can be purchased separately: There's the Demon Eye ColorSHIFT Projector Illumination system ($399.95), Vector Pro-Series grille ($895.00), Rock Light Kit ($22.94/set), and four illuminated Oracle Lighting Illuminated LED wheel rings ($299.99). Altogether, the total cost would be $1,640.82 if you want your Wrangler to scare kids on Holloween.
