Porsche purists look away now.
For some the Porsche 911 is the undisputed leader of the sports car world. Perfection personified, it is worshipped like some sort of automotive god.
For others, like the stereotypical redneck sounding southern gent here, the brilliant 3.3-liter flat-six wasn't quite up to the job so was replaced with an LS7 V8. This act of heresy should arguably be punishable by torture, but once you hear the engine growl you might just appreciate the modified 930 Turbo for what it is: the best sounding Porsche in the world. Also bear in mind the 7.0-liter V8 is lighter than the flat-six, and you reason for loving the car will become that much stronger.
