The footballing legend's black battleship is up for sale at a Las Vegas dealership.
The man with the golden balls and untold amazing supercars has apparently called time on his one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Convertible DUB Edition. Towbin Motorcars in Las Vegas has been instructed to sell the meticulously-maintained custom-built DHC Phantom, the entire exterior of which has been blacked out, from the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament through the polished steel front grille to the custom Savini Forged 24-inch wheels.
Inside, the classy interior boasts creme light leather, bucket seats at the front and rear, and a custom-installed multi-media TV-DVD entertainment unit that was built into the front seatback so that his boys could preoccupy themselves as David and Posh shot the breeze up front. Of the many optional extras, a must-have is the teak decking, which looks superb against the diamond black exterior backdrop. Under the hood there's a 453hp 6.75-liter V12 in pristine condition mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, while only 5,900 miles have been clocked up in the car's three-and-a-half year's existence while in the hands of the sporting megastar.
Beckham's famed '23' was once embroidered in the seats but that's likely to have gone; but rest assured this was once the proud property of England's living legend and can be yours for a cool $399,888. Photos courtesy of towbinrollsroyce.com and upscaleswagger.com
