While images are limited to these few teasers published on the company website, spanking-new British automaker David Brown Automotive has announced that its new luxury sports car will be heavily based on the current Jaguar XKR. It will be powered by the same 5.0-liter supercharged V-8, producing 503 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The rear-wheels will be driven through a six-speed automatic, spinning the car from 0-60 mph in 4.6-seconds.

The classically-styled car is dubbed "Project Judi" for now. It will be officially unveiled at the 2014 Top Marques Monaco show this coming April. The "Judi" is expected to sport a lightweight aluminum design. Sports car enthusiast and businessman David Brown, the company's founder, promises a mixture of "impact and style" inspired by classic sports cars, with the convenience and capability of a modern one. We'll have to wait for further details before the final debut, but these images, hinting at some Aston Martin-inspired lines, have definitely stoked our curiosity.
