Taking his brand-new D8 GTO out for a spin on his second day of ownership, the last thing this Swiss driver expected to encounter was a blue Mazda3. It seems, however, that the driver of this tiny track car – powered by an Audi-sourced 2.5-liter engine that produces up to 380 horsepower – exited a corner at high speed, ending up in the wrong lane and meeting face-to-face with the Mazda. Both drivers walked away without harm, but the Donkervoort seems to have incurred some serious damage.
