The term superstar is often overused but when it comes to Dean Martin there's no word more appropriate. One of the coolest cats in showbiz he will be remembered for his partying lifestyle and gorgeous collection of cars such as this ultra-rare 1962 Ghia L6.4. Built in Italy by Carrozzeria Ghia, Martin's L6.4 is one of only 26 models ever made, each of which was individually specified and built for other big names like Frank Sinatra, Richard Nixon and Ronald Regan.

While the Gipper later lost his car in a game of high-stakes poker with then-president Lyndon Johnson, Dean Martin deemed the Ghia L6.4 sports coupe insufficiently exclusive. He thus employed the services of Hollywood's King of the Kustomizers George Barris, the man that created the original 1966 Batmobile. The customizations on the car include a plaque on the center console with the words 'designed exclusively for Dean Martin,' original sixties' Barris Kustoms decals at the corners of the windshield, and oval headlights.

Finished in black, it comes with chrome wire wheels with narrow whitewall tires, and a thin chrome front fender vent trim. The black leather and calfskin interior features a Nardi woodrim steering wheel and custom matching luggage set. Power comes from a 335hp Chrysler, 6.3-liter V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission, and comes with power steering, power brakes and a/c. If you're interested in this original car that's never been restored, never required restoration and is seeped in celebrity history, head over to eBay where it's on sale with Hyman Classic Cars for a 'buy it now' price of $199,500.
