In its most potent form, the Jaguar F-Type R isn't short on power. The British sports car is capable of completely shredding its rear tires with ease, but it isn't focused on blistering lap times. We've known for some time that Jaguar has been working on a faster and more potent variant of the F-Type and that car, the SVR, has now made its way online. Needless to say, the sports car looks like a lunatic and should be even more of a hoot to drive. Pictures of the F-Type SVR were posted to Autovisie.nl along with some new info on the car.

The SVR model will be powered by a supercharged V8 that's good for 575 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. That's only 25 hp more than the F-Type R, but we're sure Jaguar Land Rover's performance division will fit the sports car with some other goodies. The high-performance F-Type will be able to sprint to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and continue onto 200 mph. Those really looking to feel the wind can opt for the convertible SVR, while enthusiast will surely go for the closed-top version. Other additions include a titanium exhaust, optional ceramic brakes, visual updates, a race-tuned suspension, and of course more power. Pricing for the insane sports car hasn't been released, but a price tag of roughly $143,000 has been rumored.
