The drag strip will be a battleground come summer.
Mustang fanboys have had to suffer through months of articles, videos and more about how the Hellcat is God’s gift to the world. Roush Performance is doing its best to steal the spotlight with a tuned Mustang GT that drops about 750 horsepower on the dyno. Roush left a lot stock, such as the headers and catalytic converters. New additions include a 2.3-liter supercharger, fuel injectors and remapped ECU. The result is a beastly 747 horsepower and 599 lb-ft of torque.
So far the Roush Performance Mustang GT is only capable of dominating the dyno. Rest assured that the modern muscle car world will stand still when this Mustang hits the strip against a Hellcat Challenger.
