A styling and performance kit for the first-gen Murcielago has just been revealed.
Following last year's Murcielago 2011-GT project, DMC has revealed its M-GT Murcielago styling and performance kit for the first-gen Murcielago. A redesigned front end gives the Lambo greater downforce, while a new rear bumper comes with integrated diffusers. All parts are made from carbon-fiber, while a glass engine cover is being offered to those that don't have it, as is a newly developed rear wing.
In terms of performance, DMC has used twelve single intake throttle plates, one for each cylinder, instead of the combined overhead throttle valves on each cylinder bank in the standard Lambo. New custom-made crankshafts and a host of new components including pressure modulators and injection nozzles have been added, which combine with optimized engine electronics, new wiring and an electronic load pressure control system to boost power to 700 horsepower from the original 670.
A louder sound track comes courtesy of a DMC-specific stainless steel sports exhaust silencer, which can be extended with a DMC sport metallic catalytic converter. Finally customers can request for the interior to be be completely redone using carbon-fiber and fine leathers.
