The new Challenger is based off the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, but with a shortened platform. It is a two-door coupe that resembles the original Challenger from the 1970s, but is now considerably heavier. With a base price of $22,700, the SE comes with a 3.5 liter V6 good for 250 horsepower. Starting with the R/T, you'll be treated to V8 power, which has 376 horsepower. The top-of-the-line SRT8 has 425 horsepower.

Available transmissions are either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic. The interior is well laid out with simple controls and decent quality materials. Head protection air bags and electronic stability control are standard features as well. Unlike the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, there will not be convertible version.
