Dodge Charger

Industry News

The Charger is the large car offering from Dodge. It is a mechanical twin of the Chrysler 300, which means it's rear-wheel drive and based off the LH platform. Base engine is 2.7 liter V6 with 178 horsepower. Along with the 3.5 liter V6 and 5.7 liter V8 Hemi, it is also available with a 6.1 liter V8 with 368 horsepower. Dubbed the SRT8, it is one of the most powerful sedans in its class.

The current model has been in production since 2006 and will be receiving a significant redesign inside and out for 2011. It will maintain the same basic platform, but will have a more youthful like styling.
