2019 has proven to be an outstanding sales year for Dodge. The Challenger has outsold its rivals, the Mustang and Camaro, and the four-door Charger is completely dominating the large sedan segment. While Dodge doesn't have the freshest model lineup in the industry, it has succeeded by building cool special editions and badass high-performance cars like the SRT and Hellcat models.

This year, Dodge even offered a fun sales incentive giving customers $10 off for each horsepower. And when the car in question produces 797 horsepower, you can see how this deal can add up quickly. With 2019 coming to a close and 2020 models on their way, the time to claim this deal is running out.

Customers who want to order their 2019 Charger or Challenger to their exact specifications have until October 23, 2019, to do so before order books close. Even if you don't order the car, the "Dodge Power Dollars" $10 per horsepower cash allowance is valid on any 2019 Dodge Charger, Challenger, or Durango in dealer inventory until January 2, 2020. Dodge initially planned to sell 500 million horsepower (since 2005) as part of this program but has blown past this goal with two months to spare.

"'Dodge Power Dollars' has more than exceeded our expectations, giving a huge boost to Dodge performance across the country and helping us reach our goal of putting a half-billion horsepower into the hands of our loyal enthusiast by the end of the year," said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars - Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat, FCA - North America.

Kuniskis continued: "These Dodge muscle cars are attracting a new generation of shoppers who are drawn to the performance, attitude, and personality of the Dodge brand - a brand that continues to differentiate itself within the car segment. This is the golden age of muscle cars."

$10 per horsepower can add up quickly depending on which model you choose. On a Challenger Hellcat Redeye, this would add up to a $7,970 cash allowance. Even on something much less powerful, like a Charger SXT V6, you'll still save $2,920. Dodge says it plans to thank its loyal fans with a social media event for buying so much horsepower ahead of schedule.
