Black Friday is imminent and as shoppers get ready to save big on a plethora of discounted items, those on the hunt for a new car should pay attention to the available offers out there as well. Dodge SRT has just announced a Black Friday deal known as the Dodge Power Dollars program, which has been introduced for the 2021 Dodge Durango. The Durango received a facelift earlier this year, which included the arrival of the manic Durango SRT Hellcat. For a limited period, buyers will receive a $10-per-horsepower cash allowance when buying a 2021 Durango.

The unique deal is made all the more attractive considering that the Durango is one of the most powerful SUVs around, so there is plenty of horsepower to play with. Even the base SXT makes up to 295 hp from its V6 engine, which translates into a cash allowance of $2,950. The Citadel produces up to 360 hp from its HEMI V8 (up to $3,600 cash allowance), the R/T has 360 hp as well, and the SRT 392 produces a meaty 475 hp ($4,750). Notably, all models that qualify will need to be purchased from dealer inventory between November 27 and November 30. Perhaps not surprisingly, the supercharged SRT Hellcat - with 710 hp - wasn't specifically mentioned.

For shoppers not interested in only an SUV, there is more good news. The Dodge Power Dollars deal will continue for 2020 versions of the Challenger, Charger, and Durango. Here, the cash allowance ranges from $2,920 for the 292-hp Charger SXT all the way up to $8,070 for the 807-hp Challenger SRT Super Stock. The Mayor of Muscleville, none other than pro wrestler Bill Goldberg, has been enlisted by Dodge SRT to remind the Brotherhood of Muscle to take advantage of this appealing offer.

It's a fantastic opportunity to buy a new Dodge, especially the 2021 Durango, which boasts a much-improved cabin with a faster infotainment interface.
