Just think of it as $90 per horsepower.
Followingthe unveiling of 'the world's most powerful sedan' and after making us droolover its specs and promised performance, Dodge has finally released the pricingfor the Charger SRT Hellcat, its manic 707 horsepower sedan. The Hellcat willstart at $63,995 in the United States (including $995 destination charge). Aswe see it, that comes to a pretty fair $90 per horsepower. Of course, theCharger SRT Hellcat offers more than just that. Its 6.2-liter supercharged V8 churnsout 650 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
To differentiate the Hellcat from its lesser Charger siblings – the $27,995Charger SE and the Charger SRT 392 which starts at $47,385 – the Hellcat isequipped with a plethora of exterior modifications, including the signaturepower-bulge hood. But we're pretty sure that its performance will be evidenceenough to its superior breeding.
