Does A Facelift Finally Make The BMW 3 Series GT Any Less Hideous?

Like the Porsche Panamera, the 3 Series GT is ugly but may get attractive with a refresh.

A round of applause is in order for the marketing teams who have to put lipstick on a pig and convince people the animal is now Beyonce. One such team is the advertising agency behind this video of the BMW 3 Series GT. The car itself isn’t bad, but the attractive front end and questionable rear makes the 3 Series GT the automotive equivalent of a mullet. In order to make the best of the situation at hand, the advertisement team decides to highlight how the 3 Series GT is versatile enough to fit any lifestyle.

But does this help to paint the new 3 Series GT in a new and better light? Or is it still just the four-door version of a mullet?
