If you have even glanced at the news lately, you should know that billionaire Donald Trump is running for president of the United States. His presidential campaign has brought a lot of media attention and even we have succumb to it. Although, we aren't here to present you with any analysis on his policies for running the country, we are here to talk about his cars. As a billionaire, Donald Trump obviously has a serious collection of vehicles. We are going to run through some of the coolest ones to pass through Trump's personal collection.
Mr. Trump seriously loves car, and is so rich and powerful that he doesn't actually have to go out car shopping. He simply has the cars brought to him. Trump even had the guys from Top Gear US personally bring him cars to look at.
We start this list off with a German hypercar. Back in 2003, Mercedes-Benz partnered with McLaren to build a supercar. The result was the SLR! The car features a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 cranking out 617 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. This made it one of the most impressive cars of the era including the Porsche Carrera GT and Ferrari Enzo. With a price tag of $455,000, Trump was one of the few people who could afford the car. Trump is such an important figure, that he actually had the car delivered to him in front of Trump Tower in 2005. Trump was once the proud owner of an awesome Le Mans Blue Diablo that was recently put up for sale.
Next we move onto Trump's true passion. No, not business or building walls, Rolls Royces! Trump is a huge fan of England's premier luxury brand. His first car was even a 1956 Silver Cloud. Obviously Trump had it rough in his early days. Of course Trump has also purchased a Rolls Royce Phantom. He is a billionaire, so he does not need to "settle" for the cheaper Ghost. Rolls Royces can be customized to the owner's desires, so we wouldn't be surprised if Trump's Phantom cost significantly more than the base $417,000 price. Trump is a known fan of gold, so his Rolls Royce probably features lots of the stuff. The billionaire has even commissioned Orange County Choppers to build him a custom gold motorcycle.
Not surprisingly, being married to Trump has many perks. In addition to being chauffeured around from your penthouse to your private jet, Trump also makes sure you have a nice car. Trump's ex-wife Marla Maples had a 1991 Acura NSX that Trump purchased for her. The car recently went on sale. If Trump becomes the next US president, he would no longer have a need to drive a fast, exotic car. The secret service will do all of his driving for him. Although it would be cool if the presidential limo was a gold Rolls Royce, Trump would probably have to get used to riding around in an American car.
