Does Jeremy Clarkson Need A New Job This Badly?

Somebody get this guy a new show already.

For the most part, Jeremy Clarkson has kept a fairly low profile since being fired from Top Gear. He's written the occasional article, made a radio appearance, and not a whole lot else. Speculation is mounting as to what his next move will be, or more specifically which network he'll choose for a new car show. Will now-former co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May be a part of that? Who knows, but what we do know is that Jezza has just sold one of his cars.

Is he desperate for some extra cash? Very likely not, but we were somewhat surprised he decided to part with this: a 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series, the very same CLK AMG he drove through the Black Mountains of Wales in an older segment. Jezza announced on Twitter he sold the car, and Hammond replied that "it'll be a sadder day for the poor bugger who bought it." With its hand built 6.2-liter V8 under the hood producing 507 hp, Clarkson once described the engine as "weapon's grade." Hard to disagree with that.
