Meet the all-new 2017 Cadillac CT6, the large uber luxury sedan that Cadillac is pinning so much of its future on. It's the new flagship, after all, and the American luxury brand has been working so hard to build better cars than its German rivals. Has it finally succeeded? That's what we wanted to find out in for today's unboxing review. Fortunately, we were able to spend time with a fully-loaded CT6 Platinum AWD instead of a lower trim. Needless to say, we were impressed with what we saw.

Power comes from a Cadillac-exclusive (and also all-new) 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 404 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to an eight-speed automatic. From the outside, it's clear that this is a Cadillac, the latest evolution of the brand's "Art and Science" styling language.

N/A

Bottom line: we love the front, not so thrilled with the rear. But once you step inside it's immediately clear that Cadillac invested an enormous amount of time and money. This is, without question, the best Cadillac interior we've ever seen. But is all of this good enough to even be mentioned in the same sentence as the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class? Special thanks to Woodland Motors for letting us film the car.
