Does The McLaren 650S Need These Upgrades?

Tuning / Comments

A certain Swiss tuner certainly thinks so.

Swiss tuning house FAB Design has just introduced a comprehensive aftermarket package for the McLaren 650S. A full aerodynamic body kit adds wider front and rear wings, redesigned side skirts, bigger air intakes on the front spoiler, new front and rear spoilers, a more aggressive rear diffuser and a carbon-fiber roof. Dubbed the VAYU GTR 700, the reworked 650S also gets a new set of 20-inch Evolution alloys.

Thanks to a custom sports exhaust, output of the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 has been upped to 700 hp and 533 lb-ft of torque. That translates to a 0-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 0-124 mph time of 7.7 secs. Despite failing to provide interior shots, the tuner insists the cabin has been upholstered in the finest leathers, with carbon trim and aluminum pedals.
