The Pagani Zonda is an amazing car, no doubt about it. But is it the best sounding car out there? If you ask that question to 10 different gearheads you are probably going to get 10 different answers. The fact of the matter is that there is no right answer to this question. (There are plenty of wrong answers, though.) YouTuber Marchettino, he of the cracked Ferrari windshield fame, thinks the Pagani Zonda is one of the best sounding cars of all time. This video is filled with V12 Zondas roaring around tracks and public roads, with the camera alternating between the cockpit, the car and the roadside.

Our favorite sounds come when the Pagani screams through a tunnel. Even inside the cabin with the windows up you can still hear the beast's roar echo off the concrete. Powering the Zonda is a V12 engine sourced from AMG. The engine grew in displacement as the years went by but was never turbocharged. Perhaps that's why it sounds so good? While the debate over which car sounds best will rage for eternity, one thing is for sure: The Zonda sounds better than the Huayra. Yeah, we said it.
