It was only last week we wrote about a Hummer H2 that had styling inspired by the video game Call of Duty. And now Jeep has come out with an official Wrangler Call of Duty special edition. Jeep and Activision are continuing this relationship that stems back to the Wrangler Black Ops edition and now they're introducing the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Special Edition. Offered as a two and four-door, it's based on the Rubicon and features unique wheels finished in semi-gloss black.

The exterior includes a Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition graphics logo on the front fenders and spare tire cover. There's also plenty of MW3 badges inside the cabin. Some other exterior features include a winch-ready front bumper, power dome hood, rear bumper, taillight guards and a fuel-filler door along with some solid 32-inch off-road tires. Under the hood, the Wrangler will generate power from its newly available Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. And in typical Wrangler fashion, fuel economy isn't one of its strong points, but it does manage to average 21 mpg.

The V6 is mated to a new five-speed automatic transmission instead of the old four-speed unit. The interior includes model-specific black seats with accent stitching and Call of Duty logos, a dashboard serialized plaque, dashboard grab handle with logo and accent stitching on the arm rests. It's also possible for further customization with the always useful Mopar accessories catalog. Also included are unique gauge cluster graphics, rear cargo mat and Mopar Slush Mats with logo. Pricing for the MW3 model has not been officially announced yet.
