This week's edition of Drag Race Tuesdays features a matchup of two fierce supercars. The Lamborghini Aventador vs. the Nissan GT-R is a true battle of modern production car powerhouses. We are assuming the Aventador is running at stock, which puts out a booming 690hp and 509lb-ft of torque from its 6.5-liter V12 engine. It runs from 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 217mph.

It is facing a tuned Nissan GT-R, who in itself is a ferocious monster that can pump out just short of 1,000hp. Godzilla has been seen with that much power several times, but this is the clearest indication yet that when they say it can put out 1K it really can. On a side note, a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador runs a hefty price tag of $379,700. It runs on a 6.5-liter V12 engine that can pump out 690hp and 510lb-ft of torque. The Nissan GT-R costs roughly $84,000, however you have to take into account the tuning costs that get this version up close to 1,000hp. At stock it gets 478hp and 434lb-ft of torque out of its 3.8-liter V6.

What this video below lacks in quality, it certainly makes up for in noise and content. The camera is mounted to the GT-R and gives a clear indication of what the Japanese beast can do versus its Italian antagonist.
