We know a lot about the upcoming BMW M2. What we know isn't really official but there have been tons of leaks about everything from engine power to all-wheel drive. The BMW 2 Series forum 2Addicts has been a wealth of information and is where this laundry list of new info is from. Apparently a forum member in Belgium just placed an order for an M2 and memorized as much of the options and information as possible. What are some of the highlights? The M2 will boast a twin-turbo inline-six good for 370 horsepower.

That's not really new information but what is new and awesome is that a six-speed manual is standard! There's also a seven-speed M-DCT available if that's more your thing. When it comes to features, here are a few noteworthy ones that are standard: 19-inch black alloy wheels, a black leather interior with blue stitching (the sole option) and BMW's Navigation Pro. A few of the optional options are: adaptive headlights, a rear camera, power heated seats and Internet connectivity. As we reported earlier the M2 will only come in four colors, those being Mineral Grey metallic, Alpine White, Long Beach Blue metallic or Black Sapphire metallic. According to the 2Addict's poster the M2 cost £45,000 or $70,229 USD.

Unfortunately the link to the forum post and the site itself are both currently down. Since this information hasn't been confirmed by BMW don't take it as the absolute truth. The M2 is set to make its grand debut any auto show now which means it's likely that BMW has already started taking orders. Hopefully this lucky buyer's memory is good!
