You know what's better than riding shotgun in the absolutely insane Aston Martin Vulcan? Being behind the wheel. Of course such a seat isn't easy to come by. Only 24 of these track-only supercars exist and all are spoken for. Luckily Autocar's Matt Prior got to hop behind the wheel of one, and his timing couldn't have been better. Apparently Prior is the last non-Aston Martin employee who gets to take the Vulcan for a spin, although if you really wanted to drive a Vulcan you could always pick one up at auction.

The most interesting part of Prior's review is when he reveals that the Vulcan has three driving modes: Mach 1, Mach 2 and Mach 3. Mach 1 "only" unleashes around 550 hp, with Mach 2 providing 675 horses and Mach 3 letting rip the Vulcan's full 800 horsepower. Check out this video and let us know if you caught the subtle dig at "Top Gear's" Chris Harris.
