This week's edition of Drag Race Tuesdays pits a Chevrolet Corvette against foes both familiar and unfamiliar, in the form of an electric skateboard and a Nissan GT-R. First up for the C5 Vette is the Gnarboard Trail Rider in a 75-foot race to the finish line. The motorized skateboard packs four 850-watt electric motors which, when working together, produce 4.5 horsepower. Requiring only two hours to charge a full battery, the Trail Rider can blast from 0-28 mph in 1.9 seconds and travel a range of 13 to 15 miles.

On the other hand, the C5 Corvette, built from 1997 to 2004, packs a 5.7-liter V8 with 350 horsepower to accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds. The drop-top Vette takes on the motorized skateboard in the video clip below.

Just for good measure, we've also included a second video of a Corvette ZR1 dragging a Nissan GT-R. Of course these aren't your run-of-the-mill, stock supercars: the ZR1 has been remapped, recooled and respooled to 570 horsepower (measured at the wheel), while the GT-R has been tuned by HP Logics to 570 hp.
