Drunk Driver Mistakes Family of 7 for a Drive Through Window

Crash

Don't drink and drive, kids.

A man driving three times over the blood alcohol limit crashed into a Thai restaurant in Melbourne, Australia, the other day. From watching the crash, captured on a CCTV camera, the most remarkable thing about it was that no one was seriously injured; just some minor scrapes and bruises. Now, Thai food is pretty damn delicious, but a better way to get service would probably be to exit your vehicle before entering the restaurant.

The state of Victoria has a lower BAC limit than we have in the US (0.05% vs. our 0.08%), so triple the limit is slightly less dramatic. That said, nobody is going to argue that the 57-year-old man behind the wheel wasn’t completely off his gourd.
