Toyota commissioned DUB Magazine to create a special edition Avalon for SEMA 2012, whose doors have been opened this week. "DUB has proven here that the new Avalon makes a sharp urban ride," noted Toyota Engagement Marketing and Motorsports National Manager Keith Dahl. "Their modifications give it an aggressive, yet classy look that might have been unexpected in the previous generation." The new look is dominated by a set of matte black 22-inch TIS alloys wrapped in ultra-low profile Pirelli tires that pack the wheel wells.

Other exterior mods include a lowered suspension, custom lower body kit, Brilliant Black paintjob, de-chromed body, a custom mesh grille, and tinted windows and taillights. The cabin has been upholstered in black suede and leather with DUB logos sewn into the seatbacks, and kitted out with a pulsing sound system courtesy of JBL. DUB's designers then squeezed in three massive subwoofers and an array of amplifiers into the boot to bash out some bone-shaking beats.
