EA Teases Need for Speed: Rivals

Video Game

Cops and robbers take to Koenigseggs and Ferraris for the next installment in the popular Need for Speed video game series.

Microsoft has a new Forza 5 on the horizon. Sony has previewed the upcoming Gran Turismo 6. But you wouldn’t expect Electronic Art to let them have all the fun, would you? Of course not. So hot on the heels of the two new titles for Xbox and PlayStation - and the upcoming release of the NFS movie - comes this first teaser for the latest Need for Speed game. Called Rivals, it appears to follow the familiar cops-versus-speeders formula, only in more spectacular form.

The recently-released trailer shows a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta being chased by a Koenigsegg Agera police car. The three screen shots released alongside the video also show an Aston Martin Vanquish and Porsche 911 GT3, but you can bet there’ll be plenty more when the game is release on November 19.
