The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe has been given a power boost thanks to the crew over at HMS Tuning. The German tuning house has, in addition to a matte black exterior finish, thoroughly worked the supercar into fine form and the end result can be seen (and heard, dramatically) when the SLS AMG hits the dyno in the video on the adjoining page. The SLS AMG Coupe's 6.2-liter V8 engine's output has been cranked up drastically thanks to the use of the company's in-house built Xtra Power Supercharger.

The supercharger complements a new sports air filter, intake manifold, additional ECU (for fuel and boost control) and an all-new exhaust system, complete with 4-1 manifolds, valve control and 200 CPI Sports Cats. The engine, at stock, puts out respectable numbers like 571hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. Now the SLS AMG roars with 720hp and 614 lb-ft of torque.
