This might not be the comparison you're expecting.
Both the Chevrolet Corvette and Nissan GT-R regularly get compared to cars with far heftier price tags, but it's not so often that anyone thinks to compare them to each other. Which is not that surprising if you think about it. There is no pretension behind either of these brands, and none of that sticker price is going toward the badge, so the fact that the GT-R costs about twice as much as the Corvette should mean that you're getting a lot more car and that's the end of it.
Edmunds doesn't exactly see it that way, and they have a reasonable argument. See for yourself. Hat tip to Colby Church!
