Porsche will build just 918 units of the 918 Spyder, three of which are destined for Edo Competition’s headquarters. CEO Edo Karabegovic took delivery of the first model last weekend, and work is set to begin on finding ways to improve the German carmaker’s halo hypercar imminently. The car’s 4.6-liter V8 will probably be boosted beyond its 608 hp and 391 lb-ft, while expect to see carbon-fiber add-ons and updates to the car’s electric motors.
Edo Competition is no stranger to handling supercars, having created the world’s only street-legal Ferrar FXX that was resurrected last year after crashing into the water.
