Horsepower and paddle tires provide the way up, down is a different story

Here we have another amazing fail coming form the the Formula Off-Road in Akureyri, Iceland. This remote track has some amazingly steep hills and is quite a challenge for drivers to endure the extreme climbs. Some of these vehicles have upwards of 800 horsepower to provide enough power to get through the hydroplane and hill climbing events. The footage in this video shows you just what that horsepower does when the throttle is pushed, and what happens when hit a little too hard.
