These are all exceptionally quick machines – the fastest on the road in fact – but they still exist in another realm when compared to Formula One cars. To get an idea of just how quick an F1 racecar is, check out this video taken from a GoPro camera mounted to the helmet of Simona De Silvestro – the former IndyCar driver that hopes to lineup on the F1 grid in 2015 with Sauber.

The footage is of her first test in a F1 car (2012 C31) at the Ferrari test track in Fiorano, Italy. The Swiss driver completed over 180 laps over two days at the track as she makes big strides to becoming the first female F1 driver in over two decades.
