This may just be the closest many will ever get to actually driving one.
Let’s face it: the reality is that the average person won’t have the chance to ride in, or likely even see a McLaren P1 in person. Just 375 examples will be produced, all of them are already sold out. Many, sadly, will soon find new homes in some environmentally-controlled storage garage, a victim of being a pure investment purchase and will seldom, if ever, be driven. An outright shame, we know. Fortunately, there are some who are more than happy to share their P1 experience with the world.
One example is this new POV video where the P1 hits a speed of 207 mph. Is this as good as actually riding or even driving the hyper car? Clearly no, but it’s still one of the best ways to experience an extremely rare automotive treasure.
