With only 5,359 miles, this rare beauty could be a real snag at $35,888.
No doubt many people can't wait to write out a check for the new C7 Stingray, and it would be hard to blame them. But if it's a unique Vette that you're after then you onlu have to look as far as eBay. A post recently went up on the site for a 2002 Chevy Corvette Avelate. The Avelate was based on the C5 platform and took many design cues from the '63-'67 Stingray, most noticeably its famous split rear window.
The car has a 5.7-liter naturally-aspirated V8 with 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque paired to a six-speed automatic resulting in a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds. This is one of only 27 Avelates ever produced. The Vette is 100% stock aside from the Flowmaster exhaust upgrade. You will also find a load of OEM options such as removable glass roof panel, heads-up display, sport seats, electronic air dual air conditioning and Bose sound system. The Buy It Now price is $35,888. Autotrader has this car priced at $71,385. So if you're in the market, you might want to check this one out, before the listing closes on Sept 16. Hat tip to Colby C.
