The Volvo XC90 is now nearly ten years old and it has gone this whole time without a redesign. Well, it won't have one for 2013 either, but at least it's getting a facelift. The facelift won't be a major one, but it will help to keep the XC90 from being quite so dated. There are new daytime running lights, a redesigned bumper and a new set of taillights. There are also new lower door moldings and a new set of 18-inch wheels, which are silver with a matte finish.

There are some changes to the inside as well, which include a new three-spoke steering wheel, aluminum trim pieces and instruments made to more closely resemble watch dials with white lighting. There are also new iPhone and Android applications. The facelifted XC90 will be on display at the Frankfurt Auto Show, where Volvo won't be bringing any new models, but rather focusing on "brand repositioning". That's probably something Volvo needs, but we can't help but wonder if maybe they need more.
