Autocross is generally a safe competition. You have an empty parking lot of fairly large size, a track designed to keep speeds down with a focus more on technical skills than outright speed and no bystanders hanging out trackside that you might accidently hit. The only thing a driver should keep an eye out for are the small, orange plastic cones that denote when to turn, weave, go straight, etc. Welp, sometimes that just isn't enough to keep some drivers from speeding up foolishly and trying to do more with their car than they are good for.

Case in point: a Corvette driver with an undeserved sense of accomplishment on a 'cold track with cold wheels' and introducing his sports car to the neighborhood curb. The sound is absolutely wretched and you know he was hanging his head in shame as CarBuzz's official fail of the day.
