And Matt Farah shows us how to handle family jewels.
The old BMW E30 3 Series has that magic formula that every tuner and driving enthusiast dreams of: lightweight and rear-wheel-drive. Over the years, the 3 Series has become bigger and heavier, and for many early model purists, is now a thing of the past. Because of this, old E30 M3’s have skyrocketed in value in very recent years, pushing them out of financial reach for a lot of people. Fortunately, there are alternatives, one of which is this E30 325i.
Tuned by a young enthusiast after the car was passed down to him by his father, this 25 year old 325i was given a turbocharger and many other modifications. The end result is nearly 400 horsepower. It’s quite a thing and Matt Farah takes it for a spin through the Nevada desert.
